K-REIT Asia is a commercial real estate investment trust (REIT) sponsored by Keppel Land Limited (Keppel Land), one of Asia’s leading property developers. K-REIT Asia’s objective is to generate stable income and long-term growth for Unitholders by owning and investing in a portfolio of quality income-producing commercial real estate and real estate-related assets in key cities across Asia.

As at 30 June 2011, K-REIT Asia has an asset size of $3.6 billion, with a property portfolio comprising six quality assets, four in Singapore and two in Australia. In Singapore, these include Bugis Junction Towers, a one-third interest in Marina Bay Financial Centre Towers 1 & 2 and Marina Bay Link Mall, a one-third interest in One Raffles Quay and a 92.8% interest in Prudential Tower. In Australia, K-REIT Asia owns the 77 King Street office tower in Sydney and a 50% interest in 275 George Street in Brisbane.

On 18 July 2011, K-REIT Asia announced the acquisition of a 50% interest in 8 Chifley Square in Sydney, Australia. The premium grade building under construction is targeted for completion in the third quarter of 2013. The income accretive acquisition is in line with K-REIT Asia’s strategy to continually optimise and grow its property portfolio.

K-REIT Asia is managed by K-REIT Asia Management Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Keppel Land.
