Clarification Announcement
K-REIT Asia Management Limited (the "Company"), as the manager of K-REIT Asia, refers to the announcement dated 23 May 2006 relating to the Notice of a Substantial Unitholder’s Interest (the "2006 Notice of Substantial Unitholder’s Interest") of JPMorgan Chase & Co. and its affiliates ("JPMorgan") wherein it was disclosed that JPMorgan’s unitholding in K-REIT Asia was 5.16% of the total number of units in issue.
The Company has received on 21 April 2008, a letter from JPMorgan stating that its 2006 Notice of Substantial Unitholder’s Interest is incorrect, and that JPMorgan had in fact held approximately 4.63% of the units in K-REIT Asia. JPMorgan further clarified that as of 17 April 2008, it does not hold any units in K-REIT Asia and it wishes to withdraw its 2006 Notice of Substantial Unitholder’s Interest.
Based on the information received from JPMorgan, the Company wishes to announce and clarify that JPMorgan is not a substantial unitholder of K-REIT Asia.
